Amanda the Panda Grief & Loss Camp (overnight)
At EveryStep's Amanda the Panda Grief & Loss Camp, children (kindergarten and above), teens and adults find a place of comfort and support as they connect with others who have experienced the death of a loved one. Campers are grouped with peers their own age and enjoy an overnight experience. Amanda the Panda Grief & Loss Camp is typically offered twice annually - in the spring and in the fall.
Together, with the companionship of trained volunteer camp counselors, campers gather to honor, remember, learn, and grow in their grief journey. Amanda the Panda Grief & Loss Camp counselors and volunteers lead the campers through age-appropriate activities that focus on remembrance and healing.
Some of the activities include:
- Tie-dye t-shirts
- Wagon Ride
- Low-Ropes Course for teens
- Candlelight Ceremony
- Small Group Sessions
- Balloon Release
