EveryStep Advocates for Care and Support Issues

As one of the state’s largest and longest-standing nonprofit organizations, EveryStep strives to provide Iowans with compassionate care and support at every stage of their lives.

For these reasons, EveryStep employees, volunteers and supporters gathered in the Iowa Capitol rotunda on Tuesday, February 7 to raise awareness and encourage legislative action on important health care issues affecting Iowans of all ages.

On the floor of the state capitol rotunda and in individual meetings, EveryStep employees spoke with legislators to explain the organization’s priorities, outcomes and funding requests. Throughout the rotunda, displays of our impactful programs illustrated the vital role that EveryStep plays in the health of Iowans, from prenatal care and early childhood development, to home care and hospice for aging seniors.

EveryStep will continue to engage with key legislators, advocating for support and tracking legislation that could affect the health and well-being of Iowans.

If you or someone you know is struggling to find the support they need, please contact EveryStep at 515-558-9946 or complete the commitment-free, confidential “Find Care” form on EveryStep’s website at www.everystep.org/find-care. EveryStep staff will follow up with a phone call to answer your questions and provide assistance.
