EveryStep Appoints Two New Members to Board of Trustees

EveryStep is pleased to announce the appointment of April Schmaltz and Elisabeth Sandersfeld to EveryStep’s Board of Trustees for a three-year term.

April Schmaltz is the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Delta Dental of Iowa. As a leading health carrier, Delta Dental of Iowa provides dental and vision benefits to more than 1.6 million members. With a Master of Business Administration from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University, April has more than 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, branding, integrated marketing and new business growth in the health care and financial services industries.

Elisabeth Sandersfeld is a summa cum laude graduate of Luther College with majors in Accounting and Management, and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Strategy from the University of Minnesota. Elisabeth is chief financial officer for Merchants Bonding Company. She is the former vice president and chief financial officer for Continental Western Group, a division of WR Berkley Company. Elisabeth is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
