EveryStep Leaders Meet with Lawmakers at Annual 'Day on the Hill'

This week brought the annual Day on the Hill for EveryStep leaders to the Iowa Capitol.  It is a day for the organization to thank lawmakers for their past support, present them with any new challenges we are facing, and renew our request for funding for our programs.

EveryStep President & CEO Tray Wade, Vice President of Community Health Services Molly Gosselink, and Ashley Mori and Rachel Dolan with EveryStep’s Amanda the Panda met with a bipartisan array of lawmakers.  The EveryStep team laid out our successes in the past year and looked ahead to potential legislative hurdles in the short and long term.  

EveryStep relies on a wide range of funding resources, including but not limited to Medicaid reimbursement, individual and corporate donations and sponsorships, and state, local, and federal grants.  The Day on the Hill is a chance for EveryStep to show lawmakers how public dollars are being put to work for the betterment of the communities we serve.
