EveryStep receives $35,000 in grants from Variety - the Children's Charity

Amanda the Panda received $20,000 to support the expansion of services, including growing its in-school support groups, increasing the number of holiday Cheer Boxes gifted to grieving families, and developing and implementing new day camps.
 
The Stork’s Nest, an educational incentive program rewarding participating parents for positive parenting behavior, received $15,000 toward the purchase of cribs, car seats and other baby essentials. Funds will also be used to allow the program to continue facilitating an Emergency Pantry for families in need of cribs, crib mattresses, convertible car seats, and other baby items.
  
“Once again we are grateful for the generosity and support Variety – the Children’s Charity has shown EveryStep through its grants,” said Tray Wade, President and CEO of EveryStep. “Without these funds, EveryStep’s Amanda the Panda and Stork’s Nests programs wouldn’t be able to provide such vital resources to our communities.”
