Leann Thrapp Named Vice President of Clinical Services at EveryStep

Leann Thrapp, MA, BSN, RN, CHPCA, has been named the vice president of clinical services at EveryStep (formerly HCI Care Services & Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa).

Thrapp, who has extensive experience as a healthcare leader and nurse, will lead the management of EveryStep’s home care, hospice and grief and loss services teams, focusing on maintaining high quality care and developing sustainable growth strategies.

A respected healthcare executive, Thrapp brings her expertise in leading operational and clinical teams to EveryStep, where she will support efforts to expand programs and maintain the organization’s accreditation status.

Thrapp joins EveryStep after serving as executive director at WesleyLife Home Health and Hospice where she was responsible for clinical, financial and quality planning for home health and hospice programs. Prior to her executive director position, Thrapp was director of home & senior services for Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. There, she was responsible for all aspects of the inpatient rehabilitation, transitional care unit, palliative care, hospice, home care and other programs.

In addition to her clinical director expertise, Thrapp has extensive experience in nurse management and nursing, having served as director of nursing in both educational and direct patient care positions.

Thrapp received her MA in Organizational Management and BSN from University of Phoenix, and her RN and LPN from Kirkwood Community College.
