R & R Realty Volunteers Help Beautify Kavanagh House Landscape

DES MOINES, Iowa  --  "When R&R Realty shows up to help, they show up in force."  

Even Vickie Perry, EveryStep's Materials Management and Facilities Director, was impressed this week by the speed and thoroughness with which a team of volunteers from R&R Realty tore through a list of landscaping projects at Kavanagh House on Tuesday, October 14th.  A summer's worth of overgrowth in the flower beds need to be cleared, along with moving some day lilies, dumping a ton of landscaping rock, and clearing out old hospital beds that had been replaced.

Despite light rain showers falling on the team, they tore through their to-do list in under an hour.  

"'Thank you' isn’t adequate for how helpful this was for our team and organization. It may not have felt like a big deal to you but it was a HUGE deal to our facilities team ... R&R continues to demonstrate their community partnership and culture of caring," EveryStep Donor Relations Manager Claire Reiman added in a note of thanks to R & R Realty.
