Good Grief Golf Outing

Location: Terrace Hills Golf Course (8700 NE 46th Ave, Altoona, Iowa 50009)

Participants enjoy a day of four-person best ball and compete for the top men’s and women’s teams. Lunch will also be provided. There are also opportunities to win silent auction packages and other prizes. With your support, we can eliminate barriers to care and ensure all people grieving the loss of a loved one get the help they need. Proceeds from the event support EveryStep Grief & Loss Services:

EveryStep’s Amanda the Panda Program offers free grief support services for children and families as well as individual adults. Activities include a variety of specialized peer support groups, social gatherings, in-school support groups for youths, community events and delivery of “Cheer Boxes” to grieving individuals during the holidays.
EveryStep Hospice’s grief support groups are provided at no cost to anyone struggling with a loss, regardless of whether their loved one received hospice care from EveryStep. Our bereavement counselors conduct locally based support groups from sites across southern and central Iowa. Participants receive educational materials, peer-support and expert guidance as they learn to find ways to manage grief and live healthy lives.
